Why is it that Barack Obama can’t ever take responsibility for his actions? He would rather blame conservatives for everything wrong with our country than ever admitting that he was in the wrong.
Conservative Tribune explains, “The former president appeared in Detroit over the weekend and went on a seemingly unscripted rant about conservatives. Looking surprisingly bitter and disheveled, Obama hammered an issue that has been dominating headlines: The southern border.”
The Hill shared a video clip of the 44th president, clearly attacking the Trump White House over the controversial policy of holding minors at the border who enter the United States illegally.

“I’d like to think there are compassionate conservatives out there who think there’s nothing compassionate about ripping immigrant children from the arms of their mothers at the border and putting them in pens,” Obama said angrily.
The biggest problem with Obama’s statement is that he was actually the one who built the “pens” that these children are being held in.
You might recall a photo that began circulating the internet earlier in the year. It showed children inside what appeared to be a cage inside an Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility.
The photo was actually taken in 2014, two years before Trump was ever even elected to be President.
Leftists like Shaun King spread fake news stories, claiming the photo was recent.
I saw this photo floating around and didn’t know if it was real.
Children of immigrants are being held in cages, like dogs, at ICE detention centers, sleeping on the floor. It’s an abomination.

Obama’s own former Secretary of Homeland Security, Jeh Johnson, admitted that Obama had similar policies, despite the fact that he was condemning Trump.
“In fact, many of the policies — and the pictures of children in cages — date back to the Obama administration,” Conservative Tribune reported in June. “And, during an appearance on MSNBC, former Department of Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson more or less acknowledged this fact.”
“So in 2014, to deal with the spike then, with the families, we did a number of things — including, by the way, working with the government of Mexico and obtaining their cooperation on securing their southern border. But we also expanded family detention. It was, I freely admit, controversial,” the former Obama administrator explained to MSNBC.
Take a look:
Conservative Tribune reports:
It’s worth pointing out that the Trump administration ended the controversial policy — started by the Obama administration — even after Democrats shockingly refused to pass legislation that would have fixed the problem.
Oh, and of course Obama made no mention of the time his administration literally handed over young migrant children to a human trafficking ring. He’d rather you just forget about that.
“The United States government placed an unknown number of Central American migrant children into the custody of human traffickers after neglecting to run the most basic checks on these so-called ‘caregivers,’” New York magazine reported back in January of 2016, based on information found in a Senate report.
The turnover took place in 2013, during Obama’s second term…
