Watch Gina Haspel Absolutely Humiliate Senator Reed, Leaving Him Speechless During Hearing

Kirsters Baish| The mainstream media has been keeping themselves occupied by picking apart Gina Haspel’s character. Haspel, who is is Acting Deputy Director of the CIA at the moment, is constantly attacked by the media. The reason for it? She has been nominated for the Director of the Central Intelligence Agency under President Trump.

During her confirmation hearing today, she proved exactly why she deserves the role of Director.

The issue is over the fact that Gina approved the waterboarding torture of terrorists previously. President Bush directly approved. The mainstream media bashed her and called her a torturer. While there are multiple retractions from different media outlets, Gina’s image is tainted with these horrific claims.

Haspel is left enduring a Senate confirmation hearing on Capitol Hill today. President Trump tweeted his support.

President Trump tweeted early this morning, “Gina Haspel, my highly respected nominee to lead the CIA, is being praised for the fact that she has been, and always will be, TOUGH ON TERROR! This is a woman who has been a leader wherever she has gone. The CIA wants her to lead them into America’s bright and glorious future!”

While Haspel was at the confirmation, the CIA Director nominee bashed Democrat Senator Jack Reed when he tried to corner her. What she did left him speechless. Reed questioned her if she would consider waterboarding a CIA operative to be immoral. Gina shot back with a response that was simply brilliant. CIA operatives are not the same thing as a terrorist.

Gina responded, “Senator I would never obviously support inhumane treatment of any CIA officers. We’ve lost CIA officers, over the years to terrorists. I just gave an example. Khalid Sheikh Mohammed personally killed a Wall Street Journal correspondent and filmed that. I don’t think there’s any comparison between CIA officers serving their Country, adhering to U.S. law and terrorists, who by their very definition are not following anybody’s law.”
