Van Jones Tries To Get Waffle House Hero to Bash President Trump… The Way He Responds Is Legendary

Kirsters Baish| It’s never a shock when one of CNN’s ultra liberal hosts tries to impart their “wisdom” on a guest of the network. Well, Van Jones just did it again and tried to provoke the Waffle House hero, James Shaw Jr. into slamming President Donald Trump this past Friday. Jones told Shaw that President Trump has been in contact with Kanye West after sending out tweets in support of the Trump administration, but reminded Shaw that Trump had not reached out to him, a hero.

Jones claimed, “You touched the whole world. I mean all you have to say is Waffle House hero. Everybody knows who you are. Have you heard yet from President Trump?”

The Waffle House hero replied, “At this time I haven’t heard anything, but that is not to say he didn’t try to contact me or not.”

Even though Shaw hasn’t heard from Trump personally, he didn’t give into Jones’s provocation.

“So he hasn’t successfully contacted you, you know, but he gave a shout out to, you know, gave a shout out to Kanye today. No shout out to you. How do feel when the President of the United States misses an opportunity, to hold up, you know, somebody who is trying to do good stuff like you?” Jones went on as he continued to try and push Shaw into turning on Trump.

Shaw’s response to Jones’s comments was perfect.

The humble hero responded, “I know he has a busy agenda, busy schedule. Maybe he just hasn’t gotten around to me and maybe my time is coming. It’s not for me to judge whether what he does is just, you know, I did what I did. I didn’t really do for recognition, I did it just to save my life, honestly.”

Jones was taken aback and clearly impressed by Shaw’s response, replying, “Wow. That is amazing.”

Take a look at the video below:

The left will continue to do their best to turn as many Americans against President Trump as they possibly can. Clearly James Shaw Jr. isn’t someone who is going to pick up his pitchfork and give into the mentality of liberal America.
