Two Countries Who Wouldn’t Take Back Their Deported Citizens – Trump’s Response Is Devastating: No More Visa For Gov Officials

Kirsters Baish| During his 2016 presidential run, Donald Trump made it very clear that, if (and when) elected President, he would crack down on our country’s massive illegal immigration issue. This is one of the main reasons he was elected in the first place. Americans are done dealing with the problems caused by the influx of illegal aliens in the country.

Trump supporters are desperately waiting for the much anticipated construction of the border wall, but Trump has been doing a lot in the background that should be acknowledged.

Through the years, there have been other nations who have refused to take their own citizens back in after being deported from the United States. While this may have been ignored during the Obama administration, you can bet that President Trump is going to come down hard on those countries. He actually just brought the hammer down on two of them very recently.

The Daily Caller reported that the Trump administration blasted government officials from both Burma and Laos with punishments of visa sanctions after both countries refused to take back their own citizens after they were deported from the United States of America. The announcement was made by the Department of Homeland Security on Tuesday.

The Daily Caller reports:

Going forward, the U.S. embassy in Rangoon, Burma, will halt the issuance of tourist and business non-immigrant visas to senior officials in the ministries of Labor, Immigration, Population and Home Affairs. In Laos, the U.S. mission will no longer grant tourist and business non-immigrant visas to senior officials from the Laotian Ministry of Public Security.

The restrictions also apply to the officials’ immediate families, DHS said.

The sanctions come after a review by DHS Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen, who determined that Burma and Laos have “denied or unreasonably delayed” accepting citizens ordered removed from the U.S. They will remain in place until Nielsen notifies Secretary of State Mike Pompeo that cooperation on deportees has improved, according to DHS.

This is great news! President Trump doesn’t mess around when it comes to immigration, and he has made the crystal clear to other nations over the last year and a half that he has been in office.

And for all those liberals claiming that Trump doesn’t care about immigrant families, that just isn’t so. Just take a look at the Fox News report from a few weeks ago on Trump’s progress when it comes to immigration below:
