Twitter’s CEO Thinks He’s In A Civil War & You And I Are The Enemy

Elder Patriot – Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey has made no bones about his support of the progressive/globalist agenda.  He also has shown his commitment to that agenda by using his publicly traded company to silence the voices of conservatives who use it’s platform to connect.

Now we know why he’s been so brazen about shadow banning and hiding responses of conservatives to the posts they like.  Like the way tweets from President Trump are followed by robotic bile.

Shadow banning effectively makes a user’s post invisible to others without officially noticing the account holder that he’s become invisible to his followers.  Followers of President Trump will realize that a stream of negative comments and insults follows all of the president’s tweets.

Dorsey believes we are in a civil war and he makes no secret of the fact that he has chosen sides.  He signaled that late last week when he tweeted his approval of a Medium article, written by a progressive extremist calling for Blue States to follow California’s and marginalize the Republican Party.

The article was written by Peter Leyden and Ruy Teixeira and suggests that Democrats should consider themselves in a Civil War and proceed accordingly:

“In this current period of American politics, at this juncture in our history, there’s no way that a bipartisan path provides the way forward.  The way forward is on the path California blazed about 15 years ago.”

The article is based on delusional and false claims that lay the foundation for the author’s treatise.

“In the early 2000s, California faced a similar situation to the one America faces today. Its state politics were severely polarized, and state government was largely paralyzed.”

[…]

“The solution for the people of California was to reconfigure the political landscape and shift a supermajority of citizensand by extension their elected officialsunder the Democratic Party’s big tent.”

Here’s where the article turns delusional:

“California today provides a model for America as a whole. This model of politics and government is by no means perfect, but it is far ahead of the nation in coming to terms with the inexorable digital, global, sustainable transformation of our era. It is a thriving work in progress that gives hope that America can pull out of the political mess we’re in. California today provides a playbook for America’s new way forward.”

A model for America?  California is deeply in debt, making the benefits that California provides its residents unsustainable.  The state’s public pension fund is on the verge of collapse.

The California Political Review reported in March of 2015 that;

“CalPERS and CalSTRS will in the future, sooner than later, collapse.

“Money manager John Mauldin looked at CalSTRS. Worst case, to be actually solvent he calculated CalSTRS requires an additional $30 billion per year starting now.”

A year and a half later the same publication ran this headline in August of 2016:

“Actuaries: Real CalPERS Unfunded Liability is $946 Billion—When Will it Collapse?”

Most adults would never think of living off their children’s credit cards.  Not so for Californians. Apparently they are enjoying the ride too much to notice – or care – that they’re heading for a cliff.

Even if Californians wanted to follow a path to solvency it is blocked by the state’s already highest tax rates among all fifty states.  That would only exacerbate the exodus of taxpayers leaving the California utopia.

Income disparity is also greater in California than anywhere else in the country forcing tens of thousands of hard working Americans to pick up stakes and leave the state every year.  Many residents are forced to live in substandard conditions or avail themselves of California’s numerous welfare programs, and that only hastens the coming insolvency.

Who voted for all of this irresponsible spending?  That’s a good question and the topic of some serious concern.  It’s likely that a good portion of them is the millions of illegal aliens that have tipped the scales towards Democrats in Blue States across the country.  They vote with the same hopes that they cast their ballots in the Godforsaken countries that they came from.  Like Venezuela.

If you don’t believe that irresponsibly squandering your children’s future is a liberal failing then consider this;

Of the ten most indebted states nine voted for Hillary Clinton.  Conversely, the 12 most fiscally responsible states all voted for Donald Trump.

This is what Dorsey believes should be the future of our country and he has joined in – not just nodded his approval to – a civil war intent on destroying what they cannot have – the approval of responsible patriot’s.

What Dorsey can’t accomplish in the arena of ideas he is moving to accomplish using the jack-booted tactics of tyrants throughout history – he will silence us.

And that, my friends, is why the Framers backed up the First Amendment by giving us the Second Amendment.

Dorsey, and his ilk including decision-makers at Facebook and Google/YouTube, are who Jefferson made reference to when he wrote to William Stephens Smith in 1787:

“… what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance?  Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.  It is it’s natural manure.
