Elder Patriot – Hey Bob, look over here. Maybe someone should give special counsel Robert Mueller a refresher course in conducting a proper investigation.
Let’s get this straight, the same Democrats who want background checks on Americans who want to buy ammunition waived background checks on Pakistan-born IT workers before giving them access to highly-classified computer files.
This wasn’t just a couple of Democrats who overlooked proper protocol, though that would be bad enough. Oh no, not a single one of the 44 House Democrats who hired the brothers Awan – Imran, Jamal and Abid, and then gave them access to top secret computer files, ever did even a single background check on any of them.
We reported on the Democrats’ seditious coordination with the Awan brothers more than a year ago we believed only eight House Dems were involved – Andre Carson, Luis Gutierrez, Jim Himes, Terri Sewell, Jackie Speier, Mike Quigley, Eric Swalwell and Patrick Murphy – along with Hillary Clinton’s sidekick and DNC head, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz.
What raised suspicions back then was the irregularly high payments being made to the Awans. Pat Sowers, an IT manager for other House Democrats was performing the necessary services for a quarter of the price that the Awan brothers were being paid. His offer to supply the same services to the 44 other Democrats was declined.
“There’s no question about it: If I was accused of a tenth of what these guys are accused of, they’d take me out in handcuffs that same day, and I’d never work again.
“I don’t know what they have, but they have something on someone. It’s been months at this point.” Something is rotten in Denmark.”
Sowers was right. It’s likely that Navy Seal William “Ryan” Owens was killed in an al Qaeda ambush that was the result of information about a pending raid that was “leaked” to the terrorist group.
Why flags weren’t raised earlier is a condemnation of those Obama appointed and trusted to maintain security.
According to House payroll records, Jamal’s starting salary was $165,000 when he was only 20 years old. Abid never went to college. Imran’s friend Rao Abbas’ had been fired from McDonald’s. Imran’s attorney defended their hiring; “Whether they had formal training or not, they were trained on the job by Imran.”
As suspicions grew around the unorthodox hires key Dems refused to make the necessary personnel changes to protect the security of the servers that contained many of America’s most vital secrets.
The Awan’s illegal meddling got so bad that Police banned the suspects from the network after an IG report outed them, but Wasserman Schultz continued to keep Imran on her staff anyway. He was in the building and in possession of a laptop with the username RepDWS months later, according to an April 6, 2017 police report.
Even a precursory background check would’ve revealed Imran had a $1.1 million bankruptcy filing that should’ve been enough to disqualify him prima facie. Virtually anyone assessing trustworthiness realizes financial problems are a killer of security clearances. Clearly, excessive indebtedness exponentially increases the temptation to commit unethical or illegal acts in order to obtain funds to pay off the debts.
And guess what? Public court records show that Imran and Abid took $100,000, funneled through a shadow company, from an Iraqi government official who is a fugitive from U.S. authorities.
Democrats playing fast and loose with highly classified secrets, who would’ve thought?
We’re in a battle against terrorism – most of which originates from Middle-Eastern cultures – and every one of 44 Democrats somehow fail to do background checks when they hire these workers. WTF do we have a surveillance state for if not for precisely these situations?
