Kirsters Baish| As the leftists of America continue to blame the Trump administration for the separation of illegal immigrant families at the border, they also continue to ignore the facts. There have been numerous photos circulating the internet, claiming to be taken at the border under the Trump administration, but the truth of the matter is that many of the images were taken during Obama’s time in office. Images of children wrapped in tin foil blankets, being held in cages have been all over the internet, but many of them were taken years ago. So, how can the left continue to blame Trump?
It’s always good to see someone who knows the facts tell someone who clearly hasn’t done their research how it really is. That’s exactly what Conservative personality Tomi Lahren did, via Twitter, when singer Jennifer Lopez posted fake news.
Lopez should have done her research before posting the infamous image of the “Crying Girl” on her Instagram page, with a long ranting caption about the Trump White House. It has been revealed that the mother and daughter in this photo were not separated by American authorities. The picture wasn’t even taken in our country!
Reading the news about the separation of children from their families, I can’t help but think about my own children. I cannot fathom a world where they would be ripped from my arms, taken to a place no better than a prison far from home. I feel we will never forget this moment in time. Bearing witness to these atrocities and that’s what they are, I can say for sure, remaining silent is not an option. As a Latino, and as you know very well, a proud Bronx born Puerto Rican American, we and the people of all different races, roots, and culture have enriched this country. But the recent rhetoric and constant dismissal of what we bring to the table has to stop. This is about basic human rights and decency. If you care about children, have concern for the lack of transparency about this disastrous display, in full view to the world in general, I encourage you first to get caught up on the situation. Next, call your congressperson and demand an answer, but I also want you to remain hopeful—hold fast to hope, faith and Love. We first need to admit we have a problem before we can heal it. We cannot focus on the evil, we must push towards unity and get to a healing place. ITS ALL IN OUR HANDS. Supporting one another in these troubled times, we can remain on the right side of history: the side where children are safe and in their parents arms. Act now, call now, speak now, LOVE now. #familiesbelongtogether #lovenothate
“Reading the news about the separation of children from their families, I can’t help but think about my own children,” Lopez wrote under the image. “I cannot fathom a world where they would be ripped from my arms, taken to a place no better than a prison far from home. I feel we will never forget this moment in time.”
It gets even worse. Lopez didn’t just post ONE misleading image, but TWO. Yup, she posted a different image originally, claiming that it was taken at the border as United States Border Patrol Agents separated an illegal immigrant family… but as Tomi Lahren was quick to explain to Lopez, the first image is actually from Mosul, Iraq, when the Islamic State group took over in 2014.
Hey Jennifer Lopez, this photo is from Mosul, Iraq in 2014 fleeing from ISIS (the terrorist organization Obama couldn’t defeat). Does it bother you at all to spread fake news? You have millions of followers you are full-on lying to. Wow. pic.twitter.com/P60Z1RrvJN

Twitter users weren’t happy with Lopez’s mistake.

Lopez deleted the ISIS photo, but replaced it with the “Crying Girl” photo, which we all know has been proven to have NOTHING to do with the current border situation in America.
As reported by Reuters last week, “The Honduran toddler pictured sobbing in a pink jacket before U.S. President Donald Trump on an upcoming cover of Time magazine was not separated from her mother at the U.S. border, according to a man who says he is the girl’s father. (Denis) Valera said the little girl and her mother, Sandra Sanchez, have been detained together in the Texas border town of McAllen, where Sanchez has applied for asylum, and they were not separated after being detained near the border.”

Hernandez stated, “You can imagine how I felt when I saw that photo of my daughter. It broke my heart. It’s difficult as a father to see that, but I know now that they are not in danger. They are safer now than when they were making that journey to the border.”
Liberals are not happy about what Hernandez had to say. While Lopez didn’t post images of “children in cages” from the Obama era and claim that they are current, she posted not one, but TWO photos that had nothing to do with what is going on at the border. She should really learn to check her facts before posting ridiculous messages online.
