Kirsters Baish| An art gallery called “One Grand Gallery” in Portland, Oregon has gained some negative attention this week after displaying a violent anti-Trump piece of “art.”
The gallery opened an “F*** You, Mr. President” exhibit on July 13. It wasn’t long before people were fighting back against the liberal art gallery… especially after seeing the extremely violent anti-Trump that made its way around the internet.
The exhibit was described as a “group show featuring dozens of artists from around the country.” It contained an installation that particularly grabbed the attention of onlookers.
In the window, directly facing the street, the liberal art gallery had placed an extremely violent “ISIS-style” illustration of Donald Trump. His throat is being slashed in what looks like a beheading. He is also wearing a pin of a burning American flag.
The uncensored image, which is we won’t post on our site, was seen alongside the clear words “F— Trump.” There was more anti-Trump “art” inside.

One Grand Gallery didn’t seem to recall how much backlash anti-Trump comedian Kathy Griffin faced when she decided to walk around toting a prop resembling the severed bloody head of President Donald Trump. She’s reportedly being investigated by the feds because of her sick stunt. If anyone respected her at all before, they likely don’t at this point.
Both kinds of anti-Trump displays are simply unacceptable. This many is our President, and you can bet that if Conservatives made anywhere near as big of a deal about Obama being President during his time in office, they would be labeled as racists.
Conservative Tribune reports of what happened at One Grand Gallery:
The comments flooded in and One Grand Gallery’s Yelp rating plummeted to just one star, but even that wasn’t enough to show them the image went too far.
Instead, the gallery posted the photo to Facebook in defense of their “art,” writing: “The same people offended over a ‘death threat’ are the same people upholding death threats & violence. Irony.” The post has since been deleted.
The gallery owner left the installation up through the weekend, and it wasn’t until the building owner Mark gave him a call demanding he take down the image that the gallery owner gave up the fight.
Mark, the owner of Total Performance Converters, rents space to the gallery and was appalled the moment he saw the installation upon returning to work Monday.
“The minute I saw it, I started trying to remove the F— Trump written on the bottom and immediately called the gallery owner and told him this had to come down,” Mark explained when speaking to Big League Politics. “Art can be offensive, but this crossed the line.”
The gallery worker, who remains anonymous, removed the graphic image from the window. While he was doing so, news outlets started questioning why it was being removed.
“Yeah, but people that are responding, are responding with such anger and violence. People want the gallery to go up in flames with my family,” the worker said to Fox 12 Oregon.
The owner should have taken a second to think about how ridiculous of an idea it is to put such a violently graphic image facing a busy street.
As of Tuesday, the whole exhibit was gone.
Mark has stated that he wants his life to just got back to the way it was, but he continues to face harsh criticism.
He stated, “A lot of this anger is misdirected. Although we own the building, we have nothing to do with the art displayed in the exhibits. I work hard, I have a wife and kids, and I like to go fishing. We didn’t ask for all of this.”
