Momentum is everything in politics and thanks to the recently concluded hearings and the subsequent Senate vote, that elevated President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee, Brett Kavanaugh to associate justice of the high court, the important metric of voter intensity has been reversed.
Over the past two weeks it had become apparent to a broad majority of Americans that corrupt Democrats led by Senator Dianne Feinstein had orchestrated a completely baseless assault on the character of Judge Kavanaugh solely for political purposes.
Republican Senator Jeff Flake, who angered conservatives by demanding a second FBI investigation of Kavanaugh for this position – Kavanaugh had five FBI investigations prior to these last two before being confirmed to previous positions (toal FBI probes = 7) – may have actually created a stroke of political good fortune.
Feinstein and her Democrat co-conspirators (including the mainstream media) had so poisoned the public consciousness surrounding Judge Kavanaugh that only 37 percent of the public remained convinced Kavanaugh was suited for a seat on the high court.
But, support for Kavanaugh sky-rocketed to 60% pending a clean conclusion from the FBI investigation. Numbers that high necessarily included a huge percentage of Independents if not a number of moderate Democrats.
The FBI found nothing to substantiate accuser Christine Ford’s allegations. We know this because Democrats would’ve leaked anything incriminating to Kavanaugh the same way they (Feinstein?) deliberately leaked Christine Ford’s letter to start this national disgrace.
The delay also provided time for alternative media sources to explain the danger behind accepting the decepticon leftist feminazi narrative:
Americans want women to be taken seriously when they make allegations of sexual assault. However, Americans also know that those claims can’t, in a society ruled by laws rather than [wo]men, just move straight to conviction.
Women deserve to heard but men also deserve a fair trial and the right to defend themselves. That is guaranteed by the Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Amendments to the Constitution.
In particular, the Sixth Amendment is clear on this principle:
In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the state and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the assistance of counsel for his defense.
While most Americans may not be familiar with the specific wording of this Amendment, they do hold an innate belief in fundamental fairness and common decency. All of which is delineated in this Amendment and none of which were on display by Democrats.
Senator Feinstein was particularly despicable distilling this, according to her warped view, down to a test of how we treat women.
Feinstein isn’t a community organizer spewing overheated rhetoric to mobilize a political group. She is the ranking member on the Senate Judiciary Committee.
Her own words cite how deeply divided we are as a nation over this issue, yet she sought to cement that division rather than apply the rule of law and common decency that she would demand of any Supreme Court nominee that she sat in judgement of.
Regardless, in her opening statement, Feinstein repeats the most salacious accusations against Kavanaugh as though they were fact. She did this despite having read the FBI report that found zero evidence to corroborate any of the claims against Kavanaugh.
Even more stunning was that everyone the FBI interviewed believed Judge K to be of the absolute highest moral character.
Mama bears across the country took note. Their sons, their husbands, their brothers, or their fathers could be next.
Feinstein and the Democrats’ entirely missed the consequences of their gambit. Both men and women became outraged at her assault on fundamental fairness and decency.
This has given Republican voters a view of how the Democrats intend to govern if they’re given power. As a result voter intensity among Republicans soared and now matches that of the most radical leftist Democrats.
More significantly, leftist media driven polling has not reported the #WalkAway movement that has been successfully encouraging moderate Democrats to leave their party.
Ultimately this election, like all other elections, will come down to district by district tallies. Raw vote totals mean little as the 2016 election proved.
Trump proved his mastery of this form of trench warfare in winning the presidency less than two years ago. He’s again been crisscrossing the country holding rallies in key battleground states and districts.
Despite what the pundits want us to believe when they cite the same sources whose polling were so grossly wrong in 2016, we may very well be looking at a red wave this year.
If that happens, we will have Feinstein and Senate Democrats to thank for it.
