Kirsters Baish| Liberals are so desperate to paint the Trump administration as a bunch of heartless racists, which is precisely why they are so vocal about their opposition to the current immigration policies. The problem with their argument is that the Trump administration is not full of a bunch of racists, but rather a group of Americans who deeply care about the well being of the citizens living in our great nation. We do not exclude people based on their ethnicity, but based on their individual record. This is why background checks are so vital. If it were up to the liberals, our country would be flooded with illegal immigrants, and a huge issue with this is that when we don’t properly vet immigrants, we could potentially be allowing criminals into our country. This is exactly what happened in the case of Alejandro Alvarez Villegas.
Villegas was deported from the United States of America 11 times, but still managed to get back into the country once again. This time, however, his stay will be extended. He was charged with attacking his own wife with a chainsaw. Now he’ll be in our prison system, using up American tax dollars. Try explaining that to a liberal. Maybe then they’ll see the light.
Even the LA Times reported on the matter, which doesn’t do anything for the liberal argument that illegal aliens should be welcomed into our country with open arms. The left leaning news outlet reported that the suspect was taken into custody this past Thursday in Chula Vista after attacking his wife with a chainsaw in Whittier.
32-year-old Alejandro Alvarez Villegas was arrested on the 3100 block of Main Street. At the time of his arrest, he was in possession of a stolen vehicle, as reported by the Whittier Police Department. Authorities explained that the suspect will be taken to Whittier jail for booking after being accused of attempted murder, a hit-and-run, grand theft auto, and child endangerment.
The attack took place around 3 p.m. on Wednesday. Police made their way to the 7700 block of Milton Avenue after being tipped off about an attempted murder which came from a domestic violence dispute, as reported by police. Officers found a woman with “traumatic physical injuries, believed to have been inflicted by a chain saw,” as explained in the official statement. The condition of the woman, who was taken to a trauma center, is currently unknown.
LA Times released an update:
A man suspected of attacking his wife with a chain saw in Whittier had been deported 11 times since 2005, immigration officials said.
Immigration officers have lodged a detainer against Alvarez, requesting that local authorities notify Immigration and Customs Enforcement before his release to allow them to take the man into custody, ICE spokeswoman Lori Haley said.
“Department of Homeland Security databases indicate Mr. Alvarez-Villegas is a serial immigration violator who has been removed from the United States 11 times since 2005,” Haley said in a statement.
Depending on criminal history, someone in the country illegally who reenters the U.S. after having been previously removed has committed a felony punishable by up to 20 years in federal prison, according to ICE.
This is why we cannot allow the constant influx of illegal immigrants into our country to continue. Every single time an illegal alien makes their way into our country, there is a risk that it will mean another violent criminal walking the streets.
