Crooked Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein is set to meet with Congress this coming week. Americans are waiting for him to finally be held accountable for his part in multiple illegal actions during his time as DAG.
He will be asked to explain the exact “crime” which prompted Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia probe.
The Gateway Pundit writes that the Deputy Attorney General has opted not to meet with Congress after it was reported that he had spoken of wearing a wire while having a private conversation with President Trump. He didn’t show up to the meeting which had been set by Congress last week.
It has now been said that he has agreed to meet with four members of Congress this week. Last week, it was reported by the Gateway Pundit that Rosenstein has insisted that the interview be held privately in a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF), excluding numerous Republican lawmakers.
Republican lawmakers were not happy with the DAG’s demands.
Republican Representative Jim Jordan wrote on Twitter, “Rod Rosenstein wants a SPECIAL format to testify: only 2 Rep and 2 De members of Congress asking questions in closed door classified setting.
Another example of the double standard. One set of rules for regular folks, a different set for the politically connected.

Robert Mueller’s entire Russia investigation was prompted by Rosenstein, and the whole thing seems to be unconstitutional… and thus illegal. The crooked Deputy Attorney General placed Mueller as the investigation’s Head not long after Mueller had been shot down as Head of the FBI by Trump.
The Gateway Pundit writes, “Rosenstein’s special counsel order identified collusion as the crime but no such crime exists in US Law.”
Gregg Jarrett of Fox News wrote that when Special Counsel Robert Mueller first brought charges against Paul Manafort, he had been asked to come up with a crime which does not exist within the law. This is legally impossible.
Jarrett wrote an article about the Trump-Russia Collusion probe, which includes numerous shocking statements:
George Papadopoulos pled guilty to a single charge of making a false statement to the FBI. He was not charged with so-called “collusion” because no such crime exists in American statutory law, except in anti-trust matters. It has no application to elections and political campaigns.
It is not a crime to talk to a Russian. Not that the media would ever understand that. They have never managed to point to a single statute that makes “colluding” with a foreign government in a political campaign a crime, likely because it does not exist in the criminal codes.
The big issue for DAG Rosenstein is that there had been no crime identified when he set Mueller as Head of the investigation. Rosenstein’s order stated the following:
The Special Counsel is authorized to conduct the investigation confinned by then-FBI Director James 8. Corney in testimony before the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence on March 20, 2017, including:
(i) any links and/or coordination bet ween the Russian government and individuals (i) associated with the campaign of President Donald Trump; and
(ii) any matters that arose or may arise directly from the investigation; and
(iii) any other matters within the scope of 28 C.F.R. § 600.4(a).
If the Special Counsel believes it is necessary and appropriate, the Special Counsel is authorized to prosecute federal crimes arising from the investigation of these matters.
Jarrett wrote the following regarding Rosenstein not having identified a particular crime:
In my capacity as acting attorney general I determined that it is in the public interest for me to exercise my authority and appoint a special counsel to assume responsibility for this matter,’’ Rosenstein said in a statement. “My decision is not a finding that crimes have been committed or that any prosecution is warranted. I have made no such determination. What I have determined is that based upon the unique circumstances the public interest requires me to place this investigation under the authority of a person who exercises a degree of independence from the normal chain of command.”
Did Rosenstein create the entire Mueller witch hunt entirely illegally? It certainly seems that way. He must be held accountable for his actions.
