Kirsters Baish| It was just reported by NJ Advance Media that failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton was being paid $25,000 to speak at Rutgers University. Her speech would be on “politics, American democracy and her role in shaping women’s political history.” While Clinton is still being grossly overpaid for her time, she is receiving a significant amount less in compensation than a former reality television star who spoke at Rutgers did. Clinton will claim that the reason she got paid less was because she’s not in it for the money, but in reality she just isn’t worth much.

Back in 2015, Matthew McConaughey was compensated $135,000 along with travel expenses to speak at the University of Houston. Katie Couric was paid $110,000 back in 2006 by the University of Oklahoma to speak.
In the past, Rutgers has been known to pay their speakers a lot more than a measly $25,000. Nobel Laureate Toni Morrison was paid $30,000 back in 2011. In 2015, Bill Moyers was paid $35,000. Then there was reality television star, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi. She was paid $32,000 to appear at Rutgers. During her appearance, Snooki was quoted telling students to “Study hard, but party harder.” Yes… this woman was paid more than a former presidential candidate.
While Snooki was paid with money from a different fund than Clinton was paid from, Snooki wasn’t even giving a formal speech.
But still. In a lifetime of indignities — Bill and Monica; losing the Presidential election to a reality television star; that unfortunate India incident a few weeks ago when she fell down the steps (twice), lost her shoe, and later slipped in the hotel bathtub and fractured her wrist — is there anything worse than being paid $7K less than a woman who made her name blacking out on reality television and referring to herself as a “meatball”?
The conservative media was all over it. They reminded America that in 2014, Clinton’s usual payday for a speech at any university was $200,000.
SHE CAN NO LONGER SELL INFLUENCE: Hillary Clinton is back in N.J. today for a sold-out event at Rutgers. She'll be paid $25K. https://t.co/X39jGEmXLB
While Hillary Clinton might not be making as much per speech as she used to, but to be fair none of her conservative critics have published a novel that sold more than 300,000 copies in its very first week of being published. I guess she doesn’t need money from Rutgers. Maybe she’s starting to realize that money isn’t everything… or maybe she was just taking advantage of the opportunity to indoctrinate Rutgers college students.
