Elder Patriot –Don’t expect to see this in the mainstream media but the most important takeaway from the Trump-Putin press conference in Helsinki today wasn’t who won the battle for body language, whether or not President Trump winked at Russian President Vladimir Putin, or even who said what. All of that will come out in the wash.
Except for one thing that Vladimir Putin said in answer to a question, that is. When Putin was asked about extraditing to the United States the Russians who have been indicted by Special Counsel Robert Mueller and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, Putin talked about his expectations that would then be a two-way street.
“This kind of effort should be a mutual one. Then we would expect that the Americans would reciprocate and that they would question officials including the officers of law enforcement and intelligence services of the United States whom we believe who have something to do with illegal actions on the territory of Russia and we have to request the presence of our law enforcement.
“For instance, we can bring up Mr. Browder, in this particular case. Business associates of Mr. Browder have earned over $1.5 billion in Russia and never paid any taxes neither in Russia or the United States and yet the money escaped the country. They were transferred to the United States. They sent [a] huge amount of money, $400,000,000, as a contribution to the campaign of Hillary Clinton.”
“So we have solid reason to believe that some [US] intelligence offers accompanied and guided these transactions. So we have an interest in questioning them.”
Add this to the list of crimes that makes Hillary the gang leader of the “biggest espionage case involving government officials in the history of this country.”
So far Attorney General Jeff Sessions has overseen the firings or forced resignations of:
- FBI Deputy Director, Andrew McCabe
- FBI Chief of Staff to Director James Comey, James Rybicki
- FBI General Counsel, James Baker
- FBI Assistant Director for Public Affairs, Michael Kortan
- FBI Attorney Lisa Page
- Special Assistant to FBI Director James Comey, Josh Campbell
- FBI Deputy Assistant Director of Counterintelligence – demoted (awaiting firing)
- FBI Director James Comey (fired by President Trump)
And at the DOJ:
- Chief of the Justice Department’s Counterintelligence and Export Control Section, David Laufman
- Assistant Attorney General – Head of DOJ’s National Security Division, John Carlin
- Acting Assistant Attorney General, Acting Head of DOJ’s National Security Division, Mary McCord
- Associate Deputy Attorney General, Bruce Ohr
- Associate Attorney General, Rachel Brand – Number 3 behind Rosenstein
- Deputy Attorney General and Acting Attorney General, Sally Yates (fired by President Trump)
That’s 14 Obama holdovers and it doesn’t include Loretta Lynch who was responsible for running this rat’s nest of deception. This was a flat-out purge of the executive offices of both the DOG+J and the FBI. Significantly more than the four or five Trey Gowdy alluded to yesterday.
It’s a sad commentary that Sundance at the Conservative TreeHouse expounded upon:
“Last Friday, in a carefully timed construct, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein delivered a purely political statement to the media under the auspices of indictments against 13 Russians. Make no mistake, the entire construct of Mueller’s team project; and the enabling of Rod Rosenstein; was intended to do what it has been doing for over a year, diminish, disrupt and eventually stop President Trump.
“President Trump remains an existential threat to the business interests within the apparatus of professional politics. Additionally, candidate Trump defeated the professional political class despite the stunningly Machiavellian surveillance schemes of the deep administrative state which supports the corrupt enterprise within it.
That profession political class includes hundreds if not a thousand or more career left-wing bureaucrats, all of who who have been compromised by Hillary’s ability to spread around billions, even trillions of ill-gotten dollars that were either laundered through the Clinton Foundation or directly from the U.S. Treasury.
The difference this time is Donald Trump is beholden to nobody. In fact, the attempt at prosecutorial overreach by President Trump’s enemies in the Deep State has only made him more determined to bring them to justice.
Start making the popcorn. For once, you’re gonna love what’s coming.
