Kirsters Baish| Why is it that liberals these days feel that if they don’t agree with a politician, they have the right to commit acts of violence? There are better ways to promote change. Americans have the opportunity to vote, to work with local lawmakers to make improvements to our communities, and create petitions for things that we are passionate about.
For some reason, however, liberals these days tend to take the low road, using violence and temper tantrums to get their point across. Rather than actually making a positive change, these “activists” do things like take a pickaxe to President Donald Trump’s Hollywood Walk of Fame star. These are “unproductive” actions.
Just take a look at this liberal: His name is Austin Clay. He found his coveted 15 minutes of fame when he decided to destroy the President’s star on the Walk of Fame last month.
The leftist stopped for a short interview with TMZ, during which he bragged about his act of vandalism.
Take a look:
“I think I did, like, a real good act,” Clay stated. “Personally, I don’t feel resentful. I feel proud of myself.”
Clay gave the interview toward the very end of July. TMZ has reported since then that the vandal has been hit with a felony offense of vandalism for ruining the President’s star.
If Clay is convicted for his crime, he could face three years in county jail. It doesn’t seem that this guy regrets what he did or has any remorse at all, which will make it hard for a judge to be lenient.
He went on to bash everyone who voted for Trump or made it possible in any way, shape, or form for him to get into office.
“I think Donald Trump represents everything that everybody with half a brain and half a heart in this country resents,” Clay insisted.
The unhinged liberal claimed that liberals in Hollywood reached out to him to show him support following his act of violence.
“Robert De Niro left me a voice message,” Clay said. “He wanted to say … he wanted to give me a high-five. Chelsea Handler (who wanted to know if he was single), Mark Hamill.”
Let’s just go over the facts one more time to make sure we have them straight. Clay committed a crime (a felony to be exact) in order to send a message to the President. His taking an axe to Trump’s Hollywood star likely won’t make a lick of difference.
All Clay was successful in doing is earning himself the possibility to spend three years sitting in county jail.
