Before McCain Family Trashed Trump At Funeral, Trump Granted Them The Favor They Requested, Media Ignores

Kirsters Baish| During the late Arizona Senator John McCain’s funeral this past weekend, some bitter Trump haters decided to take the opportunity and the platform to bash the President, rather than honor a deceased loved one. Senator McCain’s own daughter, Meghan McCain, slammed the President… as did former President Barack Obama and former President George W. Bush. Interesting how they were bashing someone who wasn’t even in attendance, but they failed to bring attention to something extremely kind that Trump had done for the McCain family.

McCain passed away in Arizona. His body was at the Arizona Capitol, however it needed to be in Washington, D.C. for the memorial events and for burial. Thanks to President Trump’s orders, McCain’s body was taken aboard Air Force 2 and flown to Washington, D.C. TMZ reported that the plane is usually used by the Vice President or First Lady.

TMZ reported that Trump also provided other military honors for the late Senator:

Still, Trump announced earlier this week he had greenlit military transport for McCain, saying, “At the request of the McCain family, I have also authorized military transportation of Senator McCain’s remains from Arizona to Washington, D.C., military pallbearers and band support, and a horse and caisson transport during the service at the United States Naval Academy.”

Even though McCain and Trump did not see eye-to-eye or necessarily get along, Trump made an effort. The mainstream media refused to acknowledge this.

Those who hate Trump are too set on the fact that he made a rude comment about not liking McCain because he was captured. But, the media fails to report that McCain had attacked Trump first.

The media also likes to forget that McCain had a part in passing off the salacious and fabricated dossier to the FBI, all in an attempt to bring down President Trump. Trump has since been repeatedly attacked. It’s not hard to see why he continues to stand up for himself.

Even though McCain and Trump didn’t like each other, Trump respected McCain after death and did everything in his power to get his body to Washington to be properly honored.

Actions speak a lot louder than words, so the media can go ahead and continue to report that Trump is a bitter and hateful man, but Trump’s actions after McCain’s death prove otherwise.
