Opinion| Democrats on the Senate’s Judiciary Committee have been doing everything in their power to postpone the confirmation of President Donald Trump’s Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. Kavanaugh will be replacing retiring Justice Anthony Kennedy. This past Thursday, a ranking member of the Judiciary Committee, California Democrat Dianne Feinstein spoke about a secret letter regarding Kavanaugh to the FBI.
The Gateway Pundit reports that in a statement on Thursday to the Feds, Feinstein stated that she had “received information from an individual concerning the nomination.”
The following is a statement released by Feinstein via The Intercept:
“I have received information from an individual concerning the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court. That individual strongly requested confidentiality, declined to come forward or press the matter further, and I have honored that decision. I have, however, referred the matter to federal investigative authorities.”
As it turns out, the woman who penned the letter is a liberal activist.
A California professor/far-left activist by the name of Christine Blasey Ford came forward, claiming to be the woman behind the letter. In the letter, she claimed that she was sexually assaulted by Brett Kavanaugh more than thirty years ago during their high school years in Maryland.
The Washington Post reports:
Speaking publicly for the first time, Ford said that one summer in the early 1980s, Kavanaugh and a friend — both “stumbling drunk,” Ford alleges — corralled her into a bedroom during a gathering of teenagers at a house in Montgomery County.
While his friend watched, she said, Kavanaugh pinned her to a bed on her back and groped her over her clothes, grinding his body against hers and clumsily attempting to pull off her one-piece bathing suit and the clothing she wore over it. When she tried to scream, she said, he put his hand over her mouth.
“I thought he might inadvertently kill me,” said Ford, now a 51-year-old research psychologist in northern California. “He was trying to attack me and remove my clothing.”
Ford said she was able to escape when Kavanaugh’s friend and classmate at Georgetown Preparatory School, Mark Judge, jumped on top of them, sending all three tumbling. She said she ran from the room, briefly locked herself in a bathroom and then fled the house.
Independent American journalist Mike Cernovich stated that Christine Blasey is a known liberal activist who deleted all of her social media accounts over the weekend.
Christine Blasey is a far left wing activist who spent all weekend deleting her social media accounts. I didn’t name her because that wouldn’t have been nice, but this is straight activism on her part.https://t.co/fLNiSezpgx https://t.co/T1ORi6jFib

The Democrats are so desperate that they’re digging and grasping at straws in order to try and ruin Kavanaugh’s name.
In a statement released on Thursday, Kavanaugh denied all accusations. The White House released a statement as well which read, “Senator Schumer promised to ‘oppose Judge Kavanaugh’s nomination with everything I have,’ and it appears he is delivering with this 11th hour attempt to delay the confirmation.”
