Parkland Activist David Hogg Threatens President Trump on Twitter: “You Will Suffer Consequences Few Have Ever Suffered”

Kirsters Baish| Parland shooting survivor turned anti-Second Amendment activist David Hogg hopped on Twitter on Monday morning to issue a threat to President Donald Trump. Hogg’s threat looked strangely similar to a tweet that President Donald Trump, himself, tweeted out on Sunday. Hogg threatened Trump that he will “SUFFER CONSEQUENCES THE LIKES OF WHICH FEW THROUGHOUT HISTORY HAVE EVER SUFFERED BEFORE.”

The teen’s threat was just about word for word the same statement that President Trump had tweeted out on Sunday, which was directed toward Iranian President Hassan Rouhani. The comment came after Rouhani threatened war on the United States.

Hogg wrote on his Twitter account, “To US President Trump: NEVER, EVER THREATEN THE UNITED STATES AGAIN OR YOU WILL SUFFER CONSEQUENCES THE LIKES OF WHICH FEW THROUGHOUT HISTORY HAVE EVER SUFFERED BEFORE. WE ARE NO LONGER A COUNTRY THAT WILL STAND FOR YOUR DEMENTED WORDS OF VIOLENCE & DEATH. BE CAUTIOUS!”

The thing is that President Trump is standing up for our country against a corrupt Iranian regime, a regime that has threatened war on the United States of America and have begun working on a nuclear weapons program. Hogg is just trying to bash Trump.

Later on Sunday evening, the President posted a response to Iranian President Hassan Rouhani’s threat of war on Twitter. Rouhani claimed that “war with Iran is the mother of all wars.”

President Trump tweeted in response, “To Iranian President Rouhani: NEVER, EVER THREATEN THE UNITED STATES AGAIN OR YOU WILL SUFFER CONSEQUENCES THE LIKES OF WHICH FEW THROUGHOUT HISTORY HAVE EVER SUFFERED BEFORE. WE ARE NO LONGER A COUNTRY THAT WILL STAND FOR YOUR DEMENTED WORDS OF VIOLENCE & DEATH. BE CAUTIOUS!”

Reuters reported on Rouhani’s comments warning Trump:

Addressing a gathering of Iranian diplomats, Rouhani said: “Mr Trump, don’t play with the lion’s tail, this would only lead to regret,” the state new agency IRNA reported.

“America should know that peace with Iran is the mother of all peace, and war with Iran is the mother of all wars,” Rouhani said, leaving open the possibility of peace between the two countries, at odds since the 1979 Islamic Revolution.

“You are not in a position to incite the Iranian nation against Iran’s security and interests,” Rouhani said, in an apparent reference to reported efforts by Washington to destabilize Iran’s Islamic government.”
