Kirsters Baish| It seems like liberals get themselves so worked up every time President Donald Trump follows through on a campaign promise. His critics have been at his throat for the last year and a half, claiming that there is no way for him to follow through on one of his biggest campaign promises… having Mexico foot the bill for the much needed border wall.

It’s looking like Trump’s critics who claimed that he would never get Mexico to pay for the wall are going to have to eat their own words. Conservative radio talk show host Wayne Allyn Root claimed that the President has already kept this promise, and the United States is coming out on top.
The Gateway Pundit reported that Root explained how the President was able to pull off a deal that so many people insisted he could not.
Root wrote, “That was all before President Trump announced a United States-Mexico trade agreement. Because Trump talked tough and never gave in, US workers will benefit. US carmakers will benefit. US manufacturers will benefit. US taxpayers will benefit. Trump did it. He won. We all won. Trump announced he will terminate NAFTA. While we don’t know all the details yet, I guarantee this new trade deal will save us tens of billions, perhaps hundreds of billions of dollars over the next decade.”
The Hill reports that while partaking in a “meeting with FIFA and U.S. Soccer officials about the 2026 men’s World Cup,” President Trump was questioned about funding the border wall. He responded by saying that “the wall will be paid for very easily by Mexico. It will ultimately be paid for by Mexico.”
After Trump made this statement, Luis Videogaray Caso (Mexico’s Secretary of Foreign Affairs) hopped on Twitter to claim that Mexico would not be paying for the border wall. Root’s explanation of how Mexico will be paying for the wall without knowing through the trade deal is not taken into consideration here.
We just reached a trade understanding with the US, and the outlook for the relationship between our two countries is very positive. We will NEVER pay for a wall, however. That has been absolutely clear from the very beginning.

The left has been running constant headlines claiming that Mexico will not be footing the bill for the border wall, even though Trump says they will.
President Trump has been focusing on other benefits that will come out of a trade deal with Mexico. He offered praise to anyone who helped make the deal possible.

Trump has also made it clear that this trade deal will greatly improve our nation’s economy.
Our new Trade Deal with Mexico focuses on FARMERS, GROWTH for our country, tearing down TRADE BARRIERS, JOBS and having companies continue to POUR BACK INTO OUR COUNTRY. It will be a big hit!

Conservative Tribune writes:
Root pointed out that Trump is taking a page from Rush Limbaugh’s book with a “Don’t doubt me” type standard. He wrote, “with Donald J. Trump there are no such words as ‘never’ or ‘impossible.’ Trump has chutzpah. Trump has cajones. Trump aims for the moon. Trump is combative and aggressive. Trump is driven to do what others say cannot be done. Trump is an eternal optimist. He accepts nothing less #WINNING.”
It is this, perhaps, that plays a big role in Trump’s popularity with his supporters and one-time doubters, alike. Not only has he been keeping his promises, but he tirelessly fights the good fight for America, regardless of what his critics say.
