Mark Meadows Demands Rod Rosenstein Step Down At Once For His Role In Signing Carter Page FISA Application: “He’s a Witness and Should Recuse Himself Immediately”

Kirsters Baish| This past Tuesday, Republican Freedom Caucus Chairman Mark Meadows of North Carolina called Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein a “witness” in the current Department of Justice probe. He explained that because Rosenstein signed the Carter Page FISA application. Meadows called for Rosenstein to immediately recuse himself from the case.

The Republican Chairman called for all Carter Page FISA documents to be labeled as declassified in the past.

Meadows sent out a screenshot of the Carter Page FISA application with Rod Rosenstein’s signature on it via his Twitter account. He then called for the Deputy Attorney General to recuse himself from the situation.

Meadows wrote on Twitter, “Potential FISA abuse has been a central issue in Congress’ investigation of the DOJ. The Carter Page FISA application revealed Rod Rosenstein signed the document and authorized surveillance. Mr. Rosenstein is a fact witness and should recuse himself from this process immediately.”

Republican Representative Jim Jordan from Ohio called the Deputy Attorney General out for having signed the fabricated Carter Page FISA application.

He wrote on Twitter, “FBI got part of Dossier from top DOJ official Bruce Ohr. Oh’s wife Nellie worked for Fusion. Fusion was paid by Clinton. The Dossier was never validated and was the key to getting the FISA warrant to spy on Trump campaign. Rod Rosenstein signed the final FISA renewal.”

President of the Conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch, Tom Fitton, stated on Saturday that documents having to do with said FISA warrants on Carter Page had been released by the FBI. They then made their way right into the hands of Judicial Watch.

The Gateway Pundit reports:

Obama’s Deep State FBI and DOJ obtained a FISA warrant on Carter Page in October of 2016 and three subsequent renewals in order to spy on Trump’s campaign and transition team.

Comey, Rosenstein, McCabe and Sally Yates all signed the FISA applications even though Hillary’s fraudulent Russia dossier was used as a pretext to obtain the warrants.

The Deputy Attorney General is undoubtedly a witness in this case. He has no choice but to recuse himself. It’s only fair considering Attorney General Jeff Sessions ultimately recused himself from the Russia probe.

Fox Business reported on the matter, questioning if Rod Rosenstein should be held in contempt of Congress:

Only time will tell what will come of the corrupt Rod Rosenstein, but rest assured that it won’t be pretty. He will be held accountable for his actions.
