Manafort Update: Judge Ellis Makes Mueller’s Prosecutor Break Down In Tears In Open Court ROFL

Kirsters Baish| It seems as though Robert Mueller’s prosecutors aren’t able to take the pressure in the courtroom. Former business partner to Paul Manafort, Rick Gates, took the stand on Monday to testify in the tax evasion and bank fraud case against the former Trump campaign adviser.

Judge T.S. Ellis dismissed jurors, but kept Mueller’s prosecutors behind so he could yell at them. They fought for ten minutes in the courtroom.

It was reported by Fox News that Ellis actually felt so disrespected by the prosecution at one point after the lawyer (Greg Andres) looked down rather than looking up at him. Ellis yelled, “Look at me!” Ellis went on, clearly agitated, “You looked down as if to say ‘that’s B.S.!’ I’m up here!”

The Gateway Pundit reports that Ellis and Andres began arguing on Monday after Ellis got angry at the prosecution for moving slowly with their witness and continually trying to tie him to Ukrainian oligarchs.

Ellis said, “What matters are the allegations that he made money from them and didn’t report it. You don’t need to throw mud at these people.”

It seems that Ellis’ interruptions brought Andres right to his breaking point.

Monday’s court transcripts were just released… and what they prove happened in the courtroom is actually hilarious. Andres, a lawyer on the prosecution, became so upset and frustrated by Judge Ellis’ constant criticism that he was brought to tears. The Judge mocked him for his reaction.

An attorney was able to get his hands on the transcripts and posted some of the content on Twitter.

Did Judge Ellis make the Special Counsel lawyer cry???

Judge: “There’s tears in your eyes right now.”

Govt: “There are not tears in my eyes, Judge.”

Judge: “Well, they’re watery.”

It was just yesterday that Gates testified that he had committed crimes during the time that he had worked for Manafort. These crimes date all the way back to multiple years before Manafort began working for Donald Trump’s presidential campaign.

Ellis, a 78-year-old Reagan-appointed Judge, is known for his tough style in the courtroom.

Ellis is on his game, and it doesn’t look like he’s going to be losing it anytime soon. He is well aware of what Mueller and his corrupt lawyer team is up to.

The Gateway Pundit reports:

Last week, Mueller’s prosecutors skewered Manafort over his lavish lifestyle and expensive suits which drew a sharp rebuke from Judge Ellis.

“It isn’t a crime to have money and be profligate with your spending,” Judge Ellis said to Mueller’s prosecutor

Rick Gates is in court again Tuesday and will testify for three hours according to media reports.
