Kirsters Baish| The mainstream media has been out to get Donald Trump since the very day that he announced he would be running for President of the United States. They have been painting him as a racist, as a homophobic, as a sexist. You name it, they will find a way to name-call and blame Trump about anything.
Anyone who knows anything about Trump and his policies understands that the media is lying. When it comes to immigration, he is not totally against it, despite what the left claim. Trump is all for legal immigration. After all, our country is a melting pot. The problem begins when people break immigration laws, compromising the safety of American citizens.
Conservative Tribune explains, “Anybody taking the time to speak with and listen to Trump’s legion of supporters also soon will realize that he has quite a few legal immigrants who fully support him, particularly when it comes to his firm stance on border security and illegal immigration.”
Conservative Hollywood actor turned California Congressional candidate Antonio Sabato Jr. understands where Trump is coming from. He is a legal immigrant who came to the United States from Italy in 1985 with the rest of his family. He is now pushing for stronger border enforcement, including support of President Trump’s proposed border wall, as reported by the Daily Caller.
Check out the video below to get a feel for who Sabato Jr. is:
The video interview that was released by the Daily Caller shows the Congressional candidate explaining, “I came to the United States as a legal immigrant, and I’m proud of that. More than ever, we need a wall. A big wall with a nice open door. Come here legally.”
“First of all, we have to have immigration reform as soon as possible. We need to start protecting the American people. We need to put America and Americans first,” he pushed on.
“You know, with human trafficking, drug trafficking and so much more coming into our country, we need to protect the United States, and I believe that this is the right time to build a nice wall that’s going to protect the American people.”
The actor turned Congressional candidate explained how our country’s government doles out around $120 billion every single year in taxpayer money on costs related to immigration. The state of California spends around $26 billion on immigration alone every single year.
“We can use that money and spend it on homelessness, we can spend it on our veterans, and we can certainly spend it on a wall that is going to protect the American people and save our money, our taxpayer money. The American people deserve more,” Sabato explained.
Conservative Tribune writes:
The outspoken conservative decried the fact that our nation has essentially had “open borders” for quite some time and lamented how American citizens have paid the costs for that not only with taxpayer money, but also with lives lost to criminal illegal aliens. That problem can be solved simply with a border wall.
As for how the wall could be paid for, Sabato reiterated that America already spends plenty of money on immigration-related expenses and the savings to California alone in one year would be more than enough to fund a wall.
Unfortunately, there are bureaucrats, elected establishment officials and special interest groups who favor “open borders” and staunchly obstruct any such efforts to secure funding, hence the need for more Trump supporters like him who favor a border wall being elected to Congress.
The immigrant Congressional candidate explained that he doesn’t quite get why liberals won’t defend or secure our country. He also questioned the recent liberal cry to abolish Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Sabato said ICE is “doing an amazing job” at protecting and securing our nation.
“At the end of the day, can we just put Americans first and not the party or colors or gender or whatever? This is one America, one people,” he finished off.
Sabato has been a Trump supporter ever since he announced he would be running in the 2016 presidential election. He is now hoping to become a part of California’s 26th District and join Trump in Washington.
