Just In: Maxine Waters Busted Funneling A Fortune In Campaign Funds To Her Very Own Daughter

Kirsters Baish| Democrat California Representative Maxine Waters has never been shy about her distain for President Donald Trump in the past. She has prided herself in the past couple of years as being a part of the anti-Trump movement. She is constantly calling for Trump to be impeached, even though there has never been any proof of anything worthy of even discussing impeachment.

Interestingly enough, while Waters goes on and on about how “corrupt” Trump is, she’s the one guilty of handing over more than $100,000 in campaign funds to her own daughter. Something smells like corruption.

Recent election filings made by the California Representative may prove that she is guilty of a whole lot of illegal activity.

The Daily Caller reports:

Democratic California Rep. Maxine Waters is paying her daughter more than $100,000 in campaign funds this election cycle, according to Federal Election Commission (FEC) filings reviewed by The Daily Caller News Foundation.

Citizens for Waters has already paid $42,862 to the congresswoman’s daughter, Karen Waters, since the beginning of 2017, FEC files show. The campaign is scheduled to pay the younger Waters another $65,000 for her “professional services” working on a “slate mailer,” according to the most recent FEC files.

The first time that Representative Waters’ campaign debt to her daughter was pointed out was in April of last year. The Washington Free Beacon reported that the campaign had not reported any payments. Since that report, the campaign went on to report nine different payments to Karen Waters. The FEC files that TheDCNF reviewed showed that these payments ranged from $3,000 all the way to $7,000.

Waters’ ethics have been in question in the past, too. Even though a portion of millennial voters have a soft spot for Waters, the leftist watchdog group, Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (aka CREW), called Waters one of the “most corrupt” Congress members.

The group stated, “In the midst of a national financial catastrophe, Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) used her position as a senior member of Congress and member of the House Financial Services Committee to prevail upon Treasury officials to meet with OneUnited Bank. She never disclosed that her husband held stock in the bank.”

Unfortunately, some millennials don’t understand the severity of “Auntie Maxine’s” (as they have called her) actions.

The Daily Beast reported that a Campaign Zero cofounder, Brittany Packet, spoke with BuzzFeed last month. She explained that the Congresswoman had become an instant “hero” to anti-Trump internet trolls. She stated, “We needed someone right now to shine the light of truth in a way that wakes us all up. Congresswoman Waters is that light. She’s shaking it up and telling the truth, and we all owe her for it. She’s the Auntie Boss: As real as your Auntie and as powerful as only a black woman could be.”

Conservativecash.us reports:

Multiple aides to various other progressive members of Congress who spoke with The Daily Beast expressed varying degrees of surprise that Waters had been catapulted into the limelight as a leading warrior against Trump’s agenda and his financial conflicts of interest, given her own recent past, when Waters was accused of steering of taxpayer bailout money to a bank in which her husband was financially involved.

The Conservative watchdog group of the National Legal and Policy Center’s chairman, Kim Boehm, explained, “When ethics groups of all political leanings agree that a particular member of Congress does not have the minimal ethics needed for the position, it is strange that that member parades as an advocate of ethics. That describes the current odd posturing of Maxine Waters.”

Things are not looking too hot for Maxine Waters. It seems that the skeletons in her closet are about to come falling out for the entire world to see.

Omar Navarro is running against Maxine Waters. He hopes to “give the people of the 43rd an independent voice in Congress- not one beholden to special interests and career politicians.” His website lays out what the Republican candidate is all about. Take a look here.
