Just In: FBI Makes Their Move Against New Mexico Compound Suspects, But There’s A Catch

Elder Patriot  – KRWG public media in New Mexico has reported:

ALBUQUERQUE – The FBI has arrested five residents of a compound in Amalia, in Taos County, N.M. (Amalia Compound), on a federal criminal complaint charging them with violating the federal firearms and conspiracy laws.  The arrests were announced by U.S. Attorney John C. Anderson and Special Agent in Charge James C. Langenberg of the FBI’s Albuquerque Division.

This comes in the immediate aftermath of hearings Wednesday at which state District Court Judges Emilio Chavez and Jeff McElroy dismissed 11 child neglect charges against each defendant citing the law requiring state prosecutors to hold preliminary hearings within 10 days of the defendants’ incarceration.

Eleven malnourished children were being held on the compound.  They told authorities they were being trained to become school shooters.  A three-year-old child was found dead at the compound after having been subjected to some form of bizarre ritualistic torture.

Pozen filed this report for WSB:

The children told investigators that Siraj Ibn Wahhaj and his partner, Lany Leveille, intended to “confront corrupt institutions or individuals”.

Included in the documents are a 10-page hand-written document called “Phases of a Terrorist Attack”.

Prosecutors say Leveille “expressed his displeasure with Grady Hospital due to the treatment her mother received there.”

Following the arrests NBC journalist Gadi Schwartz filed the following video report after investigators supposedly cleared and left the compound:

Schwartz reported that the site had been bulldozed but that evidence still remained on what remained of the compound.

Whatever his motivation, New Mexico District Attorney Donald Gallegos said on Friday that his office would be refiling charges against all of the subjects but the FBI stepped in and arrested the five on federal charges before he was able to.

But, where are the kidnapping and murder charges?  And, what of their plans to commit terror attacks?

What about the “terrorist training manual” that police took into evidence?  According to a CNN article filed on August 25th:

The handwritten document contained “instructions for ‘The one-time terrorist,’ instructions on the use of a ‘choke point,’ a location ‘called the ideal attack site,’ the ‘ability to defend the safe haven,’ the ‘ability to escape-perimeter rings,’ and ‘sniper position detection procedure,'” according to the court filing.

Some of the children at the compound told police that Morten allegedly “stated he wished to die in Jihad, as a martyr,” prosecutors said in the motion.

“At times, Jany Leveille would laugh and joke about dying in Jihad as would Subhanna Wahhaj,” according to the court document.

Has the FBI stepped in to restore some semblance of law and order in this case or is something else at play.

With all of the questions that surround the handling of this case up until now, Tyler Durden writing for Zerohedge raises an important consideration:

The FBI had been surveilling the compound for several months prior to the August 3 raid by the Taos County Sheriff’s Office – however they must not have been watching when the child was allegedly murdered.

The last time the FBI was found to have been surveilling radical Islamic terrorists in the Southwest was May 2015, when an undercover FBI agent was caught driving behind two armed Jihadis, filming them as they pulled up to a “Draw Muhammad” exhibit in Garland, Texas – ostensibly to attack the event. The would-be terrorists were shot dead on the spot by security guards, while the FBI agent – who encouraged one of the terrorists to “tear up Texas” in a text message, was arrested at gunpoint and later released.

Things aren’t adding up in this case.  Unless the Bureau can explain their actions the possibility exists that the FBI is hiding more than just their conspiracy to destroy the Trump presidency.

Following their mishandling of Parkland Massacre along with dozens of other terrorist plots from Boston to San Bernardino, the American people have a right to know the full extent of how badly Obama, Mueller, and Comey corrupted the once venerated institution.
