Jimenez (a bartender) was fired by his former employer, Rumble, last night via Facebook. The post has since been deleted.
The Daily Caller reports:
A Texas bar fired a man who allegedly stole a Make America Great Again hat and threw a drink in a Trump supporter’s face on Wednesday.
Rumble, a bar in San Antonio, released a Facebook statement after a video of the harassment went viral. The bar denounced the part-time employee’s behavior toward 16-year-old Hunter Richard at a local Whataburger restaurant.
“THIS BAR IS A SAFE SPACE FOR EVERYONE!” the post read. “No matter your race, creed, ethnicity, sexual identity, and political stance, you are welcomed here!”
The video of the attack was viewed more than 2 million times after being posted by Patricia Thompson Splitter. Splitter is the mother of one of the boys in the group that was attacked. She wrote along with the video, “Please help ID this ‘Scum BAG of the Year!’”
Multiple social media sources identified the man as Kino Jimenez. Twitter, 4chan, and Facebook were among those that posted his name.
Fox29 San Antonio reported that the teen who was attacked explained that Jimenez pulled out some of his hair when he ripped the “Make America Great Again” hat off of his head and yelled, “This is gonna go right in my f**king fireplace, b*tch.”
The attacker later said to the victim, “You ain’t supporting s*it n****,” all while chucking a drink in his face.
The teenager explained to Fox29, “I support my President, and if you don’t, let’s have a conversation about it instead of ripping my hat off. I just think a conversation about politics is more productive for the entire whole rather than taking my hat and yelling subjective words to me.”
Police are investigating the attack.
