Kirsters Baish| It didn’t come as much of a surprise when the ultra-left Hollywood celebrities who attended the Oscars took it a step too far in bashing President Donald Trump and just about all conservatives in our country. Basketball player Kobe Bryant even decided to go after Fox News personality Laura Ingraham.
The man who kicked off the liberal free for all of an evening was the host of the show, late night talk show host and comedian Jimmy Kimmel. It was early in the telecast that the comedian turned the entire thing in a scandalous direction. Kimmel took it so far as to basically call President Trump a racist on national television. He proceeded to go after Vice President Mike Pence, saying “We don’t make films like ‘Call Me By Your Name’ for money. We make them to upset Mike Pence.” The movie is about the relationship between two men, one man significantly younger than the other.
It seems like this whole ordeal ended up the way that they usually do… President Trump got the last laugh on leftist Hollywood. What is the one thing that matters the most in Hollywood? Money is the correct answer, and the only way to make money is by having good ratings, which this year’s Oscars did not.
Variety reports that the “8 p.m.-11 p.m. portion of ABC’s telecast averaged an 18.9 household rating and 32 share in Nielsen’s metered market overnight ratings … That’s down about 16% from the 22.5/37 rating generated by the 2017 Oscars.”
Hollywood did their best to mock President Trump, but they failed miserably and today he is the one laughing.
Fox & Friends reported on Jimmy Kimmel’s hosting:
