The Gateway Pundit has reported that Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh has agreed to hand over calendars from the summer of 1982 to the Senate. These calendars back up his claim that he wasn’t even in attendance at the party during which Christine Blasey Ford claims he sexually assaulted her.
Christine Blasey Ford, who has been said to be a leftist activist, made the unsubstantiated claim against Kavanaugh earlier this month that he had sexually assaulted her at a high school party 36 years ago, when they were teenagers. So far, the four people who Blasey-Ford mentioned in her letter have denied the allegations.
Judge Kavanaugh denied the allegations multiple times, even telling Republican Senator Orin Hatch of Utah last week that he hadn’t even attended the party mentioned in Blasey-Ford’s letter.
Kavanaugh has explained that he still has calendars from the summer of 1982 in his possession. He also explained that they back up his claim that he wasn’t at the party.
The New York Times reported:
Judge Brett M. Kavanaugh has calendars from the summer of 1982 that he plans to hand over to the Senate Judiciary Committee that do not show a party consistent with the description of his accuser, Christine Blasey Ford, according to someone working for his confirmation.
The calendars do not disprove Dr. Blasey’s allegations, Judge Kavanaugh’s team acknowledged. He could have attended a party that he did not list. But his team will argue to the senators that the calendars provide no corroboration for her account of a small gathering at a house where he allegedly pinned her to a bed and tried to remove her clothing.
The Times reports that the person working for Kavanaugh’s confirmation stated that the calendars prove that he had spent much of the summer of 1982 out of town with his parents. During the time that he was actually home, he spent his time playing basketball, going to movies, practicing football, and working on college interviews. There were a few parties shown on the calendars, which also included names of friends. The individuals mentioned by Blasey-Ford were not mentioned on Kavanaugh’s calendar.
The alleged victim also mentioned a fourth person in her letter. On Saturday evening, Leland Ingham Keyser came forward to deny the allegations against Judge Kavanaugh. Keyser stated that she doesn’t even remember being at the party in question. Furthermore, she stated that she doesn’t recall ever even attending a party that Brett Kavanaugh was at. On top of that, she claimed that she never even knew him! Keyser has been friends with Blasey-Ford since high school.
Not one single “witness” has backed up Christine Blasey Ford’s story. Her accusations against Kavanaugh seem to be a desperate attempt by the left to delay his confirmation.
Kavanaugh will be testifying on Thursday, as scheduled by Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley.
