Kirsters Baish| There is one school shooting survivor that the mainstream media isn’t praising. While the majority of teenage Americans are reciting the liberal mantras, 16-year-old Kyle Kashuv is not buying into the trend of being a mouthpiece for the alt-left. Anti-gun activists like David Hogg are being featured on CNN and pictured on the cover of Time magazine, whereas the mainstream media has been trying to hide students like Kyle Kashuv.
Students like Kyle are doing something that the left is trying desperately to prevent. They are thinking for themselves instead of regurgitating what the media tells them to say. Kashuv is a 16-year-old student who spent two hours in a closet, fearing for his life, the day that 19-year-old Nikolas Cruz began to open fire on his high school, killing 17 people. Kashuv’s opinions are a little different than those of his classmatesa.
CNN continues to support the anti-Second Amendment marchers while the rest of the mainstream media keeps acting like the NRA is totally to blame for shootings like the one at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. In reality, Cruz had zero affiliation with the NRA. Kashuv has been getting a lot less media attention than his fellow students participating in anti-gun marches. The reason? The left doesn’t want anyone to know that guns aren’t the real issue.
During an interview with Fox News, Kashuv spoke about the “March for Our Lives” website. He explained that it included a petition which would ban the sale of “assault weapons,” which liberals think means AR-15s.
He explained to Fox, “In the march itself, the march’s website, (it’s) listed how they want to ban AR-15s and I don’t agree with that.”
Kashuv explained that a big goal of those running the march is to make the NRA look like a villain.
Nikolas Cruz had set off some serious red flags prior to his rampage, but law enforcement never followed up on tips that they received.
Kashuv sees things a little differently than the majority of his fellow students. He stated, “There were so many levels the government failed: the police force failed, the FBI failed. And simply representing this as the NRA issue is so counter-productive because we could be doing real legislation to make sure this won’t happen again.”
“Here we are pointing a finger at the NRA, which practically hasn’t done anything.”

While Kashuv’s opinion isn’t the popular opinion among his age group, he doesn’t seem scared to share his thoughts.
Conservative Tribune reported:
The Kashuv classmates being lionized by CNN have made a point of attacking the NRA. Their childish ignorance, and juvenile righteousness are being shamelessly manipulated by liberals with a progressive agenda, living out former Obama Chief of Staff Rahm Emmanuel’s dictum that they “never let a crisis go to waste.”
One of the favorite chants among the D.C. “March for Our Lives” children is “Hey, Hey, NRA, how many kids did you kill today?” Anyone whose memory goes back before the second George Bush presidency (which rules out these Parkland darlings) knows that has its origins in the Vietnam protests of the 1960s.
I don’t think anyone truly believes that these brainwashed millennials thought of this whole anti-gun campaign by themselves.
