FBI Deputy Director Makes Damning Confession Concerning Florida Gunman … ThIs Is NOT OK

Kirsters Baish| It’s no surprise that liberals are still blaming President Donald Trump and the NRA for the horrific school shooting that took place last Wednesday at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. The FBI along with local law enforcement have not been held responsible for not doing everything in their power to prevent this horrific tragedy… even though they had been alerted of multiple red flags.

The most recent thing that the FBI has come out and admitted might change the mind of some on the left, or at least their attitude a bit. Deputy Director David Bowdich has released a statement in which he admitted that the “processes were in place” to follow up on tips about Nikolas Cruz, the Parkland, Florida shooter. Apparently even though the processes were in place, they were “not followed.”

I wonder if when these students are done with the IRA, they’ll go after the FBI.

The Washington Examiner reported:

Speaking in Washington, Bowdich said the FBI’s Public Access Line for tips is aimed at moving information from around the country to its headquarters in West Virginia. From there, the information is distributed to the applicable FBI field office in what Bowdich called a “professional operation.”

The issue is that the FBI did not follow up on the information about 19-year-old Nikolas Cruz, and because of this nothing was done to stop him from killing 17 innocent people.

On Thursday, Bowdich stated, “Let me be clear: There was a mistake made. We know that, but it is our job to do everything in our power to make sure it does not happen again.”

He went on to say that the “full-scale review” of the entire process is still open.

The FBI did explain last week that “a person close” to Cruz had phoned their tip line on January 5 of this year in order to let them know about his behavior. This behavior included his “desire to kill people” as well as “the potential of him conducting a school shooting.”

The thing is that the information regarding the shooter, who had confessed to being the shooter at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School last week, was not passed to the FBI Miami field office, even hough it should have been.

Bowdich went on to say that the public tip line process is “not easy work, but we’re not making any excuses.”

He stated, “Those processes were in place [do act on the tip], but they were not followed.”

Attorney General Jeff Sessions ordered an “immediate review” of the Department of Justice as well as the FBI last week after this giant misstep with Nikolas Cruz.

The FBI knew and DID NOTHING.  This is not OK.  Changes must be made, people must be fired!
