Father Of Parkland Victim Claims Kavanaugh Disrespected Him, Video Proves He’s Lying

Kirsters Baish| The Dems were set to destroy Brett Kavanaugh at his hearing this week. Now, they are claiming that Kavanaugh ignored the gesture of a grieving father of a student who lost their life in the tragic Parkland shooting earlier this year. The problem with their claim is that the video reveals the truth.

Fred Guttenberg’s daughter, Jaime Guttenberg, lost her life in the shooting. Guttenberg claimed that he had tried to shake Kavanaugh’s hand, but was refused by Kavanaugh.

From Daily Wire:

“Just walked up to Judge Kavanaugh as morning session ended,” Guttenberg tweeted at the confirmation hearing. “Put out my hand to introduce myself as Jaime Guttenberg’s dad. He pulled his hand back, turned his back to me and walked away. I guess he did not want to deal with the reality of gun violence.”

Anti-Second Amendment leftists like Shannon Watts began posting the image of Gutenberg reaching out for a handshake, and Kavanaugh not reciprocating.

The problem is that Gutenberg didn’t tell the whole story about what happened. Take a look at the video below. You can clearly see Gutenberg storm Kavanaugh from behind, his hand sticking out the entire time. He’s moving so quickly that security almost missed him before he made his way between them. Kavanaugh is quickly moved away.

Another camera angle shows that Judge Kavanaugh appears to be startled. Security then removed him from the situation. It then sounds like Gutenberg yells, “Just walking away.”

It doesn’t seem as though Kavanaugh knows who Gutenberg is other than someone who does not like his politics.

Gutenberg didn’t come up to Kavanaugh as a grieving father who is looking for sympathy. He came at him like a wild animal.

Guttenberg wrote on Twitter, “I will be at Kavanaugh hearings and I hope to play a role in ensuring that this man does not become the next Supreme Court Justice.”

You’re probably wondering how he was planning on doing that. Security had no clue, which is precisely why he was detained afterwards. This proves that they saw the situation as threatening, too.

Kavanaugh is up for Supreme Court Justice. He isn’t running for a political office of any kind. His decisions should be based on the Constitution, not the politics of today.

The Trump administration defended the President’s Supreme Court pick:

“As Judge Kavanaugh left for his lunch break, an unidentified individual approached him,” White House Deputy Press Secretary Raj Shah wrote on Twitter. “Before the Judge was able to shake his hand, security had intervened.”
