Eagles Coach’s Sudden Admission Comes Out Immediately After Winning Super Bowl… NFL Is Ticked Off

Kirsters Baish| The Philadelphia Eagles took the win in what was an amazing Super Bowl this past Sunday. This win was monumental since the Eagles were considered to be the “underdog” going into the game. Their victory over the New England Patriots put an end to the 58-years that the team did not win a Super Bowl game. The game also put an end to Tom Brady’s winning streak. It was 1960 the last time that the Philadelphia Eagles won a Super Bowl game. This was before Doug Pederson was coaching. He has chalked their victory up to one big thing, and his shocking admission left liberals enraged. Coach Pederson claims that God was to thank for the win.

Coach Pederson was asked to give a statement about his team’s win after the game. He explained that all the glory of winning belongs to God. He explained that without God, the victory the Eagles overcame, their victory over “Goliath,” would have been impossible. Those involved in the NFL were not happy about Pederson’s comments. The organization has become so politically correct that they fear even mentioning God or religion. Two of the Eagles’ players decided to show their faith as well.

It was reported by Breitbart that the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the New England Patriots on Sunday with a 41-33 victory. After the game, Coach Doug Pederson of the Eagles expressed his faith in God and thanked Jesus Christ for the opportunity to win the Super Bowl.

Dan Patrick asked, “How do you explain this, that nine years ago you’re coaching in high school and here you are with this trophy?” to which Pederson replied, “I can only give the praise to my lord and savior Jesus Christ for giving me this opportunity and I’m going to tell you something: I’ve got the best players in the world.”

Pederson wasn’t the only one proclaiming his faith. Eagles quarterback Nick Foles and tight end Zach Ertz also praised God during their postgame interviews. They were extremely excited about the win, but they were also extremely thankful. These people are the kind of people we should have in the NFL, not self-entitled players who kneel during the National Anthem.

The Eagles proved liberals wrong. They proved that having faith does in fact help guide you. Showing respect to God and to our men and women in uniform truly does get you further than showing disrespect. While the NFL may have lost countless fans and millions in revenue, the Eagles showed us what it is all about in the most important game of the season.

There wasn’t a single player on the Philadelphia Eagles who took a knee during the National Anthem. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell had really get his act together and start enforcing the rules on the field. Standing for the National Anthem shouldn’t be an option to these overpaid NFL players. They should learn to show a little respect to the country that has given them so much to be grateful for. Instead, so many players have chosen to kneel down during the anthem and show nothing but disrespect for those who defend our country. Maybe the Eagles will set a new trend in the NFL, one of respect and class and faith.
