David Hogg Gets Upset When His Rights Are Taken Away Because of One Person

Kirsters Baish| There is some serious irony in knowing that Parkland shooting survivor turned anti-Second Amendment activist David Hogg is now complaining that his school might be violating his Constitutional rights because they may be enforcing a clear backpack rule. The guy who wants to take away my right to own a gun and defend myself wants the right to his privacy? I don’t think so. What kind of deluded world is he living in?

On Friday, Hogg was being interviewed during a forum on gun control. During his babbling he went on about a plethora of far left points. He complained about Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School’s new policy which will require students to bring only clear see-through backpacks onto school grounds.

The Daily Wire reported that Hogg claimed that Democratic Broward County officials made the decision which in turn violates his “First Amendment rights.” He cited that this may cause possible embarrassment for any student who may be experiencing “their menstrual cycle” because of “tampons and stuff.”

Hogg stated, “It’s unnecessary, it’s embarrassing for a lot of the students and it makes them feel isolated and separated from the rest of American school culture where they’re having essentially their First Amendment rights infringed upon because they can’t freely wear whatever backpack they want regardless of what it is.”

“It has to be a clear backpack,” Hogg went on. “What we should have is just more policies that make sure that these students are feeling safe and secure in their schools and not like they’re being fought against like it’s a prison.”

Hogg doesn’t know the first thing about the Constitution. He clearly doesn’t understand what the First Amendment is about. He also doesn’t understand what kind of authority his school has in order to keep students and faculty safe.

It’s amazing how people react when they feel that their personal rights are being infringed on, but when it comes to other people’s rights it doesn’t matter as much. Hogg, along with all of the other brainwashed anti-Second Amendment protesters, don’t seem to understand that they are calling the NRA “child murderers,” while trying to infringe on the Second Amendment right of all Americans.

Hogg and the rest of the Parkland activists are in Washington, D.C. today for the March for Our Lives event that they have been promoting that has been backed by a lot of Democratic anti-gun groups like the Women’s March and Planned Parenthood.

Hogg told NBC on Friday that he compared himself and his fellow students to Vietnam War protesters. He said this was like that war because blood was being spilled on the streets every day.

No, young Mr. Hogg, there are not mass school shootings every day.

Since 1996, there have been 16 mass school shootings with two or more dead (not including the shooter.) There have only been eight with four or more dead (not including the shooter.) In those 22 years, there has been a mass school shooting less than once a year. While any school shooting is a tragedy, no matter how many lives are lost, the numbers don’t add up enough to take away the Second Amendment right of all Americans. Hogg needs to spend a little less time skipping school to flirt with the media and a little more time in history class learning about the Constitution.
