Kirsters Baish| It seems that for some reason, American athletes representing our country in the Winter Olympics being held in South Korea have purposely gone to great lengths to insult and disrespect President Trump… and this happened before they even competed. Some athletes boasted that they wouldn’t even shake his hand. Other athletes said that they wouldn’t be making the trip to the White House.
The whole thing is pretty ironic since these athletes said all of these things before they ever even competed… and then they failed, so maybe it’s karma… or maybe they’re cursed.
American skier Maddie Bowman failed entirely. She didn’t win any medals during the free-ski halfpipe. She won gold during the 2014 Olympics, but during this year’s Olympics she fell on every single run during the final. She finished in 11th place.
It seems that Maggie doesn’t have to worry about that now… since she lost and all. Only winners get invited to the White House.
Then there was figure skater Adam Rippon who said that he would never be visiting the White House while Trump is there. Rippon is gay and said that he would skip the traditional post-Olympics gathering in order to protest the Trump administration, who he claims is homophobic. He told the Daily Mail, “No. I have no desire to go to the White House.”
Rippon also said that he would never shake hands with Vice President Mike Pence. He also said, “I don’t want my Olympic experience to be about Mike Pence.”
Donald Trump Jr. found this statement rather hilarious. He said on Twitter:
Really? Then Perhaps you shouldn’t have spent the past few weeks talking about him. I haven’t heard him mention you once??? https://t.co/8lcCsoyBsq

The Daily Wire reported:
Well. The “icon” finished 10th in the free skate (by our math that’s seven places out of a medal).
Vonn was asked if she would accept an invitation to go to the White House and meet President Trump if she were to win a gold medal. She answered, “absolutely not. No. But I have to win to be invited.”
Vonn came in sixth in the Super-G ski race… so she doesn’t have to worry about that.
The U.S. athletes were extremely disrespectful to President Trump, and it seems that karma got them right back.
