Kirsters Baish| In the past, we have reported on some of the highly inappropriate behavior of CNN reporter and White House correspondent Jim Acosta. He seems to have earned a name for himself as the most annoying and disruptive journalist in the press pool during this administration. It turns out that President Donald Trump has taken notice of Acosta’s bad behavior, and he has been talking about pulling his press credentials.
There have been numerous press events in recent times during which Acosta made some kind of outburst or inappropriate comment. President Trump has been growing tired of dealing with Acosta.
The Washington Post now reports that Trump is now hoping to finally show Acosta some discipline after having been talked out of doing so by White House officials multiple times already.
On Friday, CNN reporter Kaitlan Collins was banned from a White House press event, which makes it seem all the more likely that Acosta will be seeing some repercussions for his actions very soon.
It was reported that after President Trump was done participating in a photo op with Jean-Claude Juncker, the European Union Commissioner, Collins yelled multiple questions at the President. Even after she was asked to leave multiple times, she continued to shout.
CNN reported that Collins shouted twice, “Did Michael Cohen betray you, Mr. President?” She then asked, ”Mr. President, are you worried about what Michael Cohen is about to say to the prosecutors? Are you worried about what is on the other tapes, Mr. President?”
When Trump didn’t answer, she asked, “Why is Vladimir Putin not accepting your invitation, Mr. President?”
Trump didn’t answer a single one of Collins’ questions, but thanked the press for coming.
When it was all said and done, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders along with Chief of Staff for Communications Bill Shine told the CNN reporter that because of the way she acted, she was not welcome at the press event that was scheduled for that afternoon in the White House Rose Garden.
They told her that her questions were “inappropriate,” both in content and the way she shouted them out.
It was made clear by White House officials that Collins was the only one excluded from the event.

Conservative Tribune writes of the matter:
Regardless of Jim Acosta’s opinion on the matter, the White House stood behind their decision, with Sanders adding that they “support a free press” but expect “everyone be respectful of the presidency and guests at the White House.”
While Acosta seems to demand that journalists covering the White House, himself included, be treated with dignity and respect, he clearly has forgotten the lack of both dignity and respect he fails to show the sitting president on a consistent basis.
Maybe if Jim Acosta tried to be professional while at work, he wouldn’t be finding himself in this situation. How hard is it to show a little respect to our President?
Hopefully this ban actually happens, and Acosta is no longer allowed at any White House press event. It would safe President Trump, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, and everyone else at the White House a whole lot of grief, that’s for sure!
