Kirsters Baish| It seems that former “Apprentice” contestant and fired political aide to President Donald Trump, Omarosa Manigault, is set on seeking revenge. After appearing on the “Today” show to promote her new book, “Unhinged,” it would appear that Omarosa was referring to herself in the title.
The book contains multiple unverified claims about President Trump as well as members of his White House staff. The entire book appears to be a compilation of some of the most leftist ideas out there.
It was reported by Fox News that Omarosa made an appearance on Monday’s edition of NBC’s “Today” show. During her time on the air, she spoke with host Savannah Guthrie about her new book. She also played an audio recording of what she claims to be a phone call with President Trump a day after her termination.
The interview turned south quickly when Omarosa immediately cut the interview short after telling the host that she had “all the time you need” to answer questions.
Western Journal writes:
In the taped conversation with Trump, alleged to have occurred the day after she was fired, it seemed as though Trump had no knowledge of what had happened, which Manigault-Newman suggested was evidence that Chief of Staff John Kelly — who personally fired her and whom she holds an obvious grudge against — is secretly running the White House.
The “Today” host tried to ask Manigault if she felt that the President had been lying during the call. Omarosa avoided the question entirely. She would no give Guthrie a direct response, and instead moved the focus of the conversation back to John Kelly and an unidentified “they,” which according to Trump, is who is running the “big operation.”
Guthrie attempted to bring the focus back to President Trump once again. Omarosa then stated, “Savannah, slow down. I’m gonna (answer) your question, don’t worry, I’m here. I’ve got all the time you need. You don’t have to ask 10 questions in one second. It’s okay.”
Omarosa didn’t answer the questions that Guthrie was asking, however. She simply avoided answering them over and over again. At one point, Guthrie asked Omarosa multiple questions regarding the recording of her conversation with Kelly about her termination in the Situation Room.
Soon after, the host started asking about Omarosa’s claim that the POTUS was a racist and that he had used the “N-word” in the past… on tape. Things started getting very awkward at this point. The video is hard to watch.
It was at this point that Guthrie played part of an interview that Omarosa had done immediately after her termination. During the interview, she claimed that Trump was, without a doubt, not a racist. When Guthrie asked what changed her opinion, Omarosa claimed that she was being “cautious” when she made the comment about Trump not being a racist.
It was at this point that Omarosa abruptly ended the interview, claiming, “You know that we have an interview right after this. I know you want to go with more time … you see the time. You know that it’s a seven-minute interview. Now we’re at 10.”
The host explained that she had more questions for her guest, and when she asked Manigault to stay for a few minutes more, the guest answered, “I’m not afraid, but I do … I have an interview right after this with someone else.”
Take a look at the whole cringe-worthy interview in the video below:
This interview literally did the exact opposite for Omarosa than what she was intending. She made herself look like a total fool who can’t answer the simplest of questions. She literally was unable to explain her own opinions. If anything, this “Today” show interview made Omarosa look more “unhinged” than anything else.
