Elder Patriot – Sen. Mark Warner, the top Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee who has been leading a congressional investigation into President Trump’s alleged ties to Russia, had extensive contact last year with a lobbyist for a Russian oligarch who was offering Warner access to former British spy and dossier author Christopher Steele, according to leaked text messages obtained exclusively by Fox News.
That Russian oligarch is Oleg Deripaska, the founder of UC Rusal, the world’s leading producer of aluminum.
Deripaska penned an op-ed for the Daily Caller explaining how “The Ever-Changing ‘Russia Narrative Is False Public Manipulation,” and is being funded by “George Soros and Silicon Valley billionaires.”
Deripaska recalls the movie “Wag the Dog” in which the appearance of a war is falsely manufactured by a Hollywood producer as a distraction in a close election.
Many believe that Bill Clinton had been accused of creating such false scenario’s on multiple occasions, notably when he ordered Operation Desert Fox, a four-day bombing campaign during the House impeachment hearings against him.
And, then again, when the launch of Operation Infinite Reach pre-empted ABC’s special report following Monica Lewinsky’s testimony before Congress.
The Clinton’s manipulation of the media became legendary so it should surprise no one what Deripaska has to say about Christopher Steele, Fusion GPS, and the billionaires backing Hillary’s ascendancy to the presidency:
“The ever-changing “Russia narrative” in American politics is today’s “Wag the Dog” scenario. Technology and the disintegration of evidence-based journalism permit a surprisingly small number of individuals to destroy bilateral or multilateral relations. Their motivation in shifting from an inconvenient reality into their desired reality is power and military-industrial commercial interests.”
“When I attended the Munich Security Conference in February, the extraordinary, coordinated message of a panel of U.S. senators was summarized by moderator Victoria Nuland, former assistant secretary of state under President Barack Obama, as: “Deep State-proud loyalists giv[ing] broad reassurance about continuity.” One of the panelists, Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.), said: “What the Breitbart crowd would call the ‘Deep State’ is what many of us would call ‘knowledgeable professionals.’” The panel’s uniform message was essentially: Ignore Donald Trump and increase your defense budget to 2 percent, because the generals who are ‘operationalizing policy’ remain in charge.”
“What has been inelegantly termed the “Deep State” is really this: shadow power exercised by a small number of individuals from media, business, government and the intelligence community, foisting provocative and cynically false manipulations on the public. Out of these manipulations, an agenda of these architects’ own design is born.”
