Blackhat Deputy AG Rosenstein Obstructing Justice By Stonewalling Grassley Not Allowing Interview of Agent Pientka on DOJ’s Possible Alteration of Flynn’s Testimony

Kirsters Baish| As previously reported by the Gateway Pundit in February, Mike Cernovich claimed that former Deputy Director of the FBI, Andrew McCabe, had altered liberal FBI agent Peter Strzok’s 302 notes regarding his interview with General Michael Flynn.

Then Cernovich claimed that McCabe had destroyed any evidence.

It is suspected by Senate investigators that McCabe altered the 302 notes on the interview with Flynn and referred the issue to Inspector General Michael Horowitz. The one who pushed the FBI and the Justice Department to give up the documents on Flynn in the first place was Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley.

Grassley sent a letter on Friday, May 11 to both FBI Director Christopher Wray and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein. In the letter, Grassley explained that Comey had testified that the FBI did not feel that Flynn had hied. The Senate Judiciary Chairman also explained that Koe Pientka was the other FBI agent who had taken part in the “ambush style” interview, which was meant to ruin General Flynn.

Rosenstein would not allow the Senate Judiciary Committee to have the documents that they had requested. What he did instead was give them “insufficient” documents which pushed Grassley to send the Deputy Attorney General another letter.

It seems that Senate investigators now have the 302 notes and all evidence that backs up Cernovich’s claim that the FBI summary had been altered.

Now we are learning that Deputy Attorney General Rosenstein doesn’t want Pientka to testify at all!

It was stated by investigative reporter Sara Carter that if Pientka was subpoenaed, he “will discuss how forthcoming Flynn was about very specific sensitive information that Flynn could not have possibly known the investigators already knew, which may give additional insight into Flynn’s veracity and willingness to tell the truth.”

Agent Pientka is willing to talk about a certain piece of information that General Flynn had released during the interview. This piece of information proves that Flynn was telling the truth. It looks like Chuck Grassley is going to be going for Rosenstein now in order to gain access to Pientka.

FOX News reported:

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley isn’t backing down as the Justice Department rebuffs his repeated attempts to speak with the FBI agent whose interview with Michael Flynn was used to indict the ex-national security adviser in the Russia probe.

“This is no ordinary criminal case,” Grassley, R-Iowa, wrote in a June 6 letter to Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein. “Congress has a right to know the full story and to know it now.”

Grassley is pressing his request anew after the DOJ once again rejected his bid to speak with FBI Agent Joe Pientka and to obtain the FBI’s records of the interview.

But Republicans on Capitol Hill are seeking more information about that interview as recent revelations have raised questions about the guilty plea itself. They say former FBI Director James Comey in fact indicated to lawmakers that FBI agents did not believe Flynn intentionally lied about the talks with Russia’s ambassador.
