Kirsters Baish| Obama era CIA Director John Brennan has been filling his time by trying to threaten the Trump administration via Twitter on the regular. On Tuesday, he sent out another threatening tweet toward President Trump.
Brennan hopped on Twitter and explained to his followers that he believed that Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation would end similarly to the way Watergate ended… He claimed that President Trump would either be impeached or forced to resign. Brennan urged that Republican “heroes” to see his side.
It’s important to keep in mind that Brennan was deeply involved in the promoting of the infamous (and fabricated) Trump “dossier.” He has been trying to get Trump out of office since before he was even inaugurated.
The Gateway Pundit reports of Brennan, “The ex-CIA chief invoked Watergate and called on Republicans to circle the wagons and force Trump to resign after Mueller is finished with his investigation.”
Brennan wrote on Twitter, “When the Special Counsel’s work is done, the Republican Party must have its modern-day equivalents of Watergate heroes—Howard Baker, Elliot Richardson, Bill Ruckleshaus, John Dean—who will put country, fellow citizens, & the law above any one person, including @realDonaldTrump.”

The former CIA Director warned President Trump in the past of Mueller’s witch hunt. On April 27 of this year, Brennan tweeted out, “Stay tuned, Mr. Trump…”
A highly partisan, incomplete, and deeply flawed report by a broken House Committee means nothing. The Special Counsel’s work is being carried out by professional investigators—not political staffers. SC’s findings will be comprehensive & authoritative. Stay tuned, Mr. Trump…. https://t.co/Jx3jh8fomu

It has been said that Chairman Devin Nunes is looking into whether or not Brennan perjured himself while giving a public testimony on the infamous dossier.
The Hill reports:
Former CIA Director John Brennan on Tuesday said Republicans would have to come forward after special counsel Robert Mueller‘s investigation ends in order to put the country and the law “above any one person” — President Trump included.
In a tweet, Brennan alluded to “Watergate heroes” and said the GOP must follow suit with the special counsel probe by prioritizing “country, fellow citizens & the law.”
Mueller’s team is investigating Russia’s role in the 2016 presidential election, as well as possible collusion between the Trump campaign and Moscow.
President Trump has called the investigation a “witch hunt” multiple times. He has explained that he feels it is just a ploy to get him booted out of the White House and to give the American people reason to doubt him as a leader.
Brennan spent the entirety of former President Barack Obama’s second term in office as the CIA Director. His criticism of Trump partially stems from his attacks on our country’s intelligence community along with Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s probe.
The former CIA Director’s tweet was posted not long after Bloomberg News released a report in which they stated that the Special Counsel investigation would be focusing “more intensely in the coming months on allegations of coordination between the Trump campaign and Russia.”
